Local agent (LAN)

Not all servers and workstations are exposed on the Internet. The Exposia Local agent installs on your network and sends results via an encrypted tunnel, without opening an inbound port.

Benefits

  • IP and CIDR ranges Declare LAN ranges; the agent discovers and scans according to the same pipelines.
  • WireGuard Tunnel Agent outbound connection to Exposia — no complex site-to-site VPN.
  • Commands and updates Reboot, key rotation and agent updates from Settings.
  • OpenVAS and Nmap via agent Heavy scans can pass through the agent for non-routable targets from the cloud.

How it works

  1. 1. Create the agent Settings → Local agent (Enterprise plan).
  2. 2. Install the package Installation script provided; token enrollment.
  3. 3. Declare ranges Add LAN CIDRs from Targets; run the scans via the agent.
